Undertaker Undergoes a Minor Hip Surgery

In other injury news, The Undertaker has undergone a minor hip surgery. The WWE felt that the surgery could ease up some pain that The Undertaker has been feeling in that area. Aside from a hip injury, it has been reported earlier that he is also experiencing some pain in his back area and both knees.

 

There is still no word when The Undertaker will return, although there were plans to have him come back by SummerSlam. He is a major locker room influence among the younger wrestlers and guys like Chris Jericho, Edge, and Rey Mysterio have picked up the slack ever since his absence.

 

While the WWE certainly misses his star power, The Undertaker should take as much time as possible and just let the injuries heal. It would certainly have been entertaining if the planned program with Jericho should continue as both are exciting performers in the ring but The Undertaker isn’t getting any younger and the company should know how to pace him in matches.
