WWE and Denver Nuggets are scheduled to use Pepsi Arena on same date Holy Major Mix-up, Batman! The WWE and Denver Nuggets are on a collision course since they are scheduled to make use of the Pepsi Arena at the same date.

The WWE will hold an episode of WWE Raw at the Pepsi Arena the same night Kobe Bryant and the Lakers visit Denver for Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals. While the Nuggets have already gone fishing at this time during the past years after getting smacked around by either the Lakers or Spurs, Chauncey Billups had other plans this year. The problem is that the WWE had already made reservations on that same day and 10,000 tickets have already been sold. Vince McMahon thinks that the blame lies on the Nuggets management for not believing in their own team to reach this deep into the playoffs. Yeah, shame on the Nuggets for trading Allen Iverson to Detroit!

It’s been 24 years since the Nuggets were in the Conference Finals, so the WWE’s chances of getting the venue right now is the same as the likelihood that pro wrestling is real fighting.

Speaking of submissions, there’s talks that the WWE will hold a new pay-per-view event that will feature submission matches. With fan attendance dwindling the past year, the company will look into many angles to bring back the lost revenue. They’re now looking at a few possible titles to the PPV. We’ll have more on this issue in the future as the story progresses.

Another PPV is also set to get a makeover, at least in name. There are reports that Comcast employees have been asked to change their market ideas to fit the new name of “The Great American Bash”. Apparently, the PPV event will now be named “The Bash”. Is the WWE saving on printing or space?
