The Undertaker turned out to be the winner in seven streak World Championship win in the midst of a tough mixture of mayhem, steel and brutal aggression. Hell in a Cell has always been considered as the territory of the Deadman and he once again unraveled his supremacy over the Punk. The nails were put in the Punk’s end with the Deadman’s famous Tombstone. After a series of serious controversies of a rematch just when the Undertaker thought he dethroned CM Punk, the Deadman made a sure act of retribution as he made CM Punk suffer from his death defying rage.
The Viper has reclaimed his triumph over John Cena in the very first match inside Satan’s Structure. Despite Cena pledging that he would display another side of himself which would not just defeat but eventually destroy his foe, he still ended up struggling for oxygen when the Viper got the chance to zero him in. After a good number of years, this could be considered as the most arduous fight ever made between Orton and Cena, with first once again claiming the WWE Championship.

The Legacy was not able to defeat the determination pushed by the mighty team of DX. But it was not a shameful event at all for having had the chance to compete with one of the most leading tag teams in the history of WWE, especially when they have defeated DX in the previous months which led to Hell in a Cell. DX was enraged early on when the Legacy attacked them just when they were just about to enter the ring. With the help of some bolt cutters, Triple H broke into the cell and distressed the Legacy. It was really one hell of a lesson to learn for Rhodes & DiBiase.
Despite Batista’s prevailing victories during the single matches against his opponents in Hell in a Cell, his team up with Mysterio ended as a huge disappointment as Big Show gave the Master a distressing Knockout Punch. The two competing teams were given close calls in this tough fight but the Unified Tag Team Champions still dominated any of its opponents in the last few months. Now, everyone is wondering which tag team could ever defeat this partnership.
The young upcomer Dolph Ziggler was able to put up a really good fight at Hell in a Cell but Intercontinental Champion John Morrison still emerged as the victor of the fight. Both have strong, skilled and persistent career backgrounds with a drive that is both unstoppable as well. All because of The Shaman of Sexy’s lift off of Starship Pain done in perfect timing, the match ended with the amateur fighter losing to it. Both are known not just for their impressive fighting skills but also because of their famous skirmished against each other. The two will still face each other in SmackDown in just a few days time.
Despite his being consistently outnumbered in his recent matches, Kofi Kingston would always overcome the challenges and remain on top of his every game. He once again triumphs over a Triple Threat Match fought between Swagger and The Miz. The two decided to unite together to overcome Kingston but when the two diverted their attention to attaching each other, Kingston found this as a chance to strike them both down making The Miz and Swagger angrier than before.
Mickie James soared to victory like a true butterfly over Alicia Fox. After a rigorous battle, the Divas Champion has once again secured her spot with her wider experience and prowess. Alicia has been getting the better of the Divas Champion for the last couple of weeks and even distracting her from the ringside making the Champion to lose to Beth Phoneix. The beauty and brains of Mickie James will return as Raw’s all time reigning queen unless she has truly quieted the storm in Fox.
When Drew McIntyre and R-Truth finally faced each other in their initial match at the Hell in a Cell, McIntyre defeated R-Truth with a Double Underhook DDT. McIntyre was proclaimed by Mr. McMahon himself as the future World Heavyweight Champion. The high sense of athleticism and power of R-Truth did not work enough to defeat the Scottish Superstar in his first appearance for PPV. After this match, will Truth be able to admit that the youngster has really earned his respect already or will he still be wanting some retribution for himself?
This is the night when Randy Orton promised to beat John Cena and make him say “I quit” on WWE Breaking Point. As the WWE Universe saw in the past week, John Cena has been weakened because of getting an RKO using a steel chair. However, this proved that a steel chair RKO is not enough to stop Cena from winning as he was able to lock Orton and use the handcuffs. With too much pain, Orton decided that it is time for him to say “I quit” and giving the title to Cena. Now, this new title is a new addition to the list of John Cena’s accomplishments. The only question is, when will Orton come back for a vengeance?

World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk vs. Undertaker (Submission Match)
In this match, expect no count outs or anything. All the players have to do is just to submit to the winning player. And in this match, you can say that the Undertaker is that last person who will submit to the match. With this, the Undertaker already made Punk submit on this match but Theodore Long went on the ring to nullify the Dead Man’s win. With this, the match ended on a second round but it is very noticeable that the match’s official made an illegal call by hastening the bell and giving Punk the win. However, knowing the Dead Man, he will surely be back to grant them his revenge.

Without any disqualifications or count outs , this is the match that will guarantee a true brawl between the young members of Legacy and the much experienced D-Generation X. The match ended when Michaels was double-teamed by the legacy in a very painful position by having his spine bended. Feeling too much pain, he cannot do anything but to submit and thus giving the win to the younger generation of Legacy.

This is once again one of the matches that everyone should never fail to watch as this is a match between two teams who have been showing off their skills and determination to win. In the past matches, the WWE Universe has seen how the Jericho-Big Show team has stopped the other teams from winning the match. And this match is the same as the determination of Henry and MVP to win has been brought down by the skills of this skillful and powerful team.

This is not the first time they are facing each other as they have already fought in a match with Christian getting the win. Regal also tried his best to win on the match but once again, Christian has proven that he has the power to prevail in the world of WWE.

When it comes to talking, you can definitely rely on the Miz. But in the WWE Universe, talking is not the way to win so the Kofi Kingston has proven that he is the undisputed champion of this fierce universe. Now, will The Miz finally bring toughness on his skills instead of his talking in his next matches?

Seeing these two gigantic fighters in one ring will be very exciting for the WWE expectators. However, the Singapore canes on the corners of the arena will add up to the excitement as it assures excruciating pain with every blow. In the middle of the match, Ranjin Singh interfered to prevent the winning Kane. Being distracted, Kane went to Singh to divert all his aggression but he was protected by his brother. With all power, he gave Khali a powerful choke slam to get him the victory.
DX left the match with the victory after Triple H extended his help to his friend Shawn Michaels to beat down Rhodes & DiBiase. D-Generation X made a grand entrance while riding on a vintage tank. During the run of the game, their opponents made tags often enough thinking that this is the best strategy to go for the win. However, it was still no good at all when Michaels gave Rhodes some really devastating Sweet Chin Music. It was known that Triple H went on looking for DX partner for a long time having been tired of all the dishonest tactics of his frequent rivals. But upon their comeback as a team, they were surprisingly beaten by Rhodes & DiBiase, giving a clear message before their soon-to-be held match at the SummerSlam. Nevertheless, even if Rhodes & DiBiase were defeated, they can still be considered as one of the best accomplished tandems that WWE history can boast of.
CM Punk was able to knock down Jeff Hardy from the height of a 20-foot ladder and stole the title after ultimately shocking the WWE Universe. However, he wasn’t able to celebrate for long for just when he hugged his golden belt, lights went out, and in the middle of the ring appeared the Undertaker. He was grabbed by the Deadman in the throat and did a chokeslam on him down to the mat. With all that the Ladders & Chairs Match can viciously offer with bone-breaking crashes and life-daunting falls from heightened ladders, the whole WWE Universe is left astounded. Hardy was definitely disappointed with himself but he greatly realized that it takes a lot to be on the top. You become a huge, hard target that everybody wants to put down. Nevertheless, Hardy is still looking forward for a rematch.
The most dangerous viper was found at the very heart of Staples Center. WWE Champion Randy Orton made attempt to get his way in his rival Cena while applying all kinds of possible tricks and moves. In the end, it just took one bizarre chance for him to finally beat down his opponent with an RKO to let him sustain his WWE Title. When an overzealous member of the WWE world attacked the ring to distract the referee, the Viper took this as a chance to finally have a chance to do a crushing RKO to his opponent. WWE’s Viper would certainly do everything for him to keep his precious gold.
Jericho & Big Show as the Unified Tag Team Champions reigned as winners over Cryme Tyme, proving that they remain as one of the most undefeated tag teams of WWE. In this match, the Unified Tag Team Champions displayed the reason why they shine bright in the WWE universe. Just when everybody thought that Cryme Tyme was going to take home the win, Big Show made a quick huge blow from outside the ring even after being beaten out by Shad. This gave way for Jericho to give them the final triumph of the game. Despite their not liking each other in the past, the two was successful in building a successful union which showed outstanding chemistry in the end. Despite the defeat, Cryme Tyme was able to make a huge mark in this event for having successfully bringing out of the ring The World’s Largest Athlete.
Despite the huge efforts, Dolph Ziggler still was not unable to dethrone Rey Mysterio, the reigning intercontinental Champion. However, this could still serve as great experience for having the chance to compete with the leading Superstars. Mysterio surprisingly found it a bit difficult to defeat the youngster for Ziggle was way much better this time around compared to their last match. Impressively, Ziggler was able to avoid the champion’s signature finishing move which rarely happens for anyone to do. So what will happen next in a possible match again between the teacher and the student?

Within just 8 seconds, Christian grabbed triumph at the Summerslam hitting William Regal with a Killswitch. However, a few moments after the match, the victor was attacked by Ezekiel Jackson and Vladimir Kozlov. Having to hit Regal in a cheated manner with the Killswitch, Captain Charisma was given his appropriate punishment after the match. The two used the Captain as their pawn with both of them slamming down the Champion to the mat. Regal also made his way for revenge taking advantage of the Captain’s defenseless state as he locked him with a Regal Stretch. Christian was left almost looking like a dead man after the vicious carnage done by the three.
Kane’s demonic tactics worked well in pinning down the Great Khali. At most part of the match, Khali was almost already sure of his win but not until Kane held captive his opponent’s brother to pose a daunting threat. With this distraction, Kane was able to give his opponent a combination of a low dropkick and a potent DDT which gave him the victory. Weeks before this match, the two have always been at odds but it was usually Kane who would back down. However, the big question remains if this will be the end to the war of the two?

MVP deprived Swagger of the chance to make him as his entrance ticket to the next level of his career. The boils and misunderstandings from these two have always been seen as cultural differences but both are known to be great athletes especially when they have proven this at the Staples Center. Throughout the entire duration of the match, the two were both indestructible but still the MVP managed to nail down Swagger.
After weeks of hearing Punk claim that Jeff Hardy didn’t stand a chance, it all came to a head at the Night of Champions. Unfortunately for Punk, he ended up being more bark than bite, and Hardy was able to take him down and win the coveted title he had sought for so long. Indeed, in the midst of a packed arena, Hardy climbed the top rope and took down his big mouthed opponent with a perfect Swanton Bomb.

While Dreamer had been fervently wishing to retain his title against his opponent and good friend Christian, it simply wasn’t in the cards. In the midst of a packed arena, Christian became the Newest ECW Champ via a Killswitch for the pinfall. The two competitors shared sportsman-like hug after the bout, while Christian basked in the limelight of his victory.
After being doused in the eyes with a ‘mystery substance’ that ended by being perfume via the French Canadian Divas Champ, Mickie James came into the Night of Champions as the underdog, but she ended up being the dark horse victor of the night. Indeed, Mickie became only the second woman in the history of the WWE to be both the Divas and the Woman’s titles. To add insult to injury, moments before the match Maryse dissed her suitor The Miz because he did not have a WWE title. Karma, baby.

In the last minute announcement heard round the world, fans of the WWE finally learned that Chris Jericho would be partnering with Big Show for the Unified Tag Team Championship match. Indeed, Edge (his much publicized Achilles injury the cause of the unprecedented last minute announcement of Jericho’s tag team partner) seemed to be much forgotten as Jericho and Big Show became the new Unified Tag Team Champs, effectively wiping the ring clean with DiBiase and Rhodes.
In the Night of Champions much touted Triple Threat Challenge, The Viper was able to show (once again) why he is the Champ. Indeed, he was able to take down both of his foes as well as withstand an in-ring interruption by the defeated tag teamers DiBiase and Rhodes. Great entertainment.
Kofi Kingston showed all the naysayers what was up when he beat down five commendable competitors in the United States Champion title match. Indeed, for weeks the Jamaican Superstar has been giving (and receiving ) so much smack talk that was almost easy to forget that there was an actual title on the line. No matter, despite his high level of competition he was able to reign victorious.
While Dolph Ziggler has been working diligently at making a name for himself on the WWE, and has also made a point of telling all that would listen that he was about to be the new Intercontinental Champ, veteran Rey Mysterio wasn’t having any of it. Indeed, despite Ziggler’s impressive performances as of late, he was simply no match for the current Intercontinental Champ Mysterio.
Nothing makes you feel more like a fan than watching exclusive coverage along with the rest of the die hards. Fortunately, The Bash was pro-wrestling drama at its finest, and it included some of the best bouts in recent history.

While some of the bouts ended up pretty much the way people expected them to, others were complete surprises. Like the Unified Tag Team match – the players ended up changing at the last minute, and inexplicably, the new Unified Tag Team champs are (drum roll please…) Edge and Chris Jericho.

Edge & Chris Jericho win Triple Threat Tag Team Match
If you are asking yourself how in the world something like this could have happened, you are not alone. And no, your eyes are not deceiving you. Somehow, Edge finagled his way into the PPV match (he hasn’t missed one while healthy in a decade), and history was born. One more time, for you non-believers: Edge and Chris Jericho are your new Unified Tag Team champions!!!

Unfortunately for Chris Jericho, he wasn’t able to continue his winning streak. In fact, in his bout against Rey Mysterio ended his reign as Intercontinental Champ. And the spectators agree, it was pretty much all because of his infatuation with Rey Mysterio’s trademark mask. While Jericho was attempting to unmask his opponent in front of a huge crown and PPV audience, Mysterio was able to move in for a lightning-fast pin. Mask and all.

It was Triple H versus Randy Orton in the Three Stages of Hell match. Going into the bout, Triple H was the clear favorite. This was because he was the only fighter to have competed in and won fights similar to this prior to The Bash. However, Randy Orton was able to end the night with his championship belt still intact, by way of Triple H’s disqualification. (Hey, when the judges say no bashing with chairs, that means no bashing with chairs, yo.)
The Women of the WWE have a new champion. And her win made history, no less. Michelle McCool virtually clobbered her opponent, the ranking champ Melina. The win makes Michelle the first woman in WWE history to hold the Diva’s Championship and the Woman’s Championship simultaneously. Hot and a badass; what more can you ask for?

In a shocking upset, Jeff Hardy was again denied the title of World Heavyweight Champion by CM Punk. Even after pummeling CM Punk and being declared the victor, Hardy was destined to walk away from the bout empty handed. Upon closer inspection of the footage of the fight, it was determined that Punk had been out of bounds when the win was declared. Result: Hardy was disqualified and Punk retained his title and bragging rights. Not to go quietly into the night, Jeff Hardy pummeled Punk mercilessly as he exited the ring. It took three refs to put a stop to the insanity. Unfortunately for Jeff Hardy, his beating of Punk got him no closer the title he covets.
After weeks of being verbally assaulted and listening to the fabricated tales that have been mercilessly spewed by The Miz, John Cena finally got his night in the ring. And dealt out a brutal beating that The Miz would be smart to remember the next time he considers trash talking. But is he smart enough to keep his mouth shut? My Magic 8 Ball thinks not.
The PPV kicked thing off with a Fatal Four Way for the WWE United States title with Kofi Kingston defending his title against MVP, Matt Hardy, and William Regal. Kingston was at a disadvantage as his rivals didn’t need to pin him in order to win the title. The scramble ends with Kingston retaining his title after he connects with a Trouble in Paradise on William Regal for the pin fall.
We see Chris Jericho against Rey Mysterio for Mysterio’s WWE Intercontinental Championship in a No Holds Barred match. Chris Jericho comes from the crowd before the match and cuts a promo. He’s at the merchandise stands full of Mysterio masks, insulting Mysterio for hiding behind a mask and deceiving little children. Jericho ends up winning the Intercontinental Title for the record 9th time! Mysterio goes for a 619 on Jericho but misses, Jericho then grabs Mysterio’s mask off and follows it up with a roll up for the pin. Mysterio runs up the ramp covering his face as Jericho celebrates his win in the ring.
The next match pits CM Punk against Umaga in a Samoan Strap match. In order to win, the competitors must consecutively touch the pads in each corner while a strap is used to tie both men together. Punk wins this contest after executing a Go to Sleep on Umaga, knocking him unconscious. Punk then goes ahead and touches the last pad to gain the victory.
Backstage, Gregory Helms interviews ECW Champion Christian about the Triple Threat match against Tommy Dreamer and Jack Swagger. He jokes about Dreamer’s body looking like a melting candle. Dreamer then joins the interview and the two competitors start to argue. Swagger comes in wanting to talk but Christian and Dreamer both walk away before Swagger could start.

We now go to the Triple Threat match for the ECW Championship. If Dreamer loses the match, then it will be his final match ever in the WWE. Weapons are aplenty in the match since it’s under extreme rules. The finish saw Swagger plant Christian’s face in the exposed turnbuckle and attempts a Gutwrench Powerbomb. Dreamer then hits a cracking Singapore cane across Swagger’s chest and drops Christian. Swagger then falls victim to a vicious DDT from Dreamer. Dreamer goes for the cover and becomes the new ECW Champion.
Next, we see Jerry Lawler interviewing Raw GM Vickie Guerrero about her upcoming Hog Pen match against Santina Marella. She then turns it into a handicap match by adding her nephew Chavo Guerrero on her side to the match, much to his chagrin. Santina was able to pin Vickie after Chavo accidentally throws slop on Vickie after Santina ducks. Santina then pours slop over Chavo and covers his head with a bucket. Santina punches the bucket then turns on Vickie to get the pin. Santina goes up the ramp celebrating while Chavo and Vickie are both covered in mud.
The steel cage is lowered for the WWE Championship match with Randy Orton defending the title against Batista. Legacy was unable to help their leader retain the title because of the steel cage. John Cena tried to lock in the STF on the Big Show several times but due to the giant’s size, Cena was only able to apply the hold at the finish. The Big Show looked like his was going to get the win as he locked Cena in a bear hug. However, Cena was able to break free and hits a leg drop off the ropes, locks the STF on Big Show. This was the second time the city hosted this annual event.

The week-long celebration included the Fan Access, WrestleManiArt, the WWE Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and topping it off was the highlight of the week, the 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania which was held at the Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas. The game was also show live through Pay-Per-View last Sunday, April 5th at 7 pm ET and 4 pm PT.

This year’s WrestleMania broke records as the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) set at breaking record of 72,744 viewers attending the game. This was by far the highest grossing live event in the WWE history earning a whooping $6.9 million in revenue. The city of Houston hosted WWE fans from all over 50 states, 24 countries including.

The lead Pussycat Doll singer Nicole Scherzinger graced the event as she beautifully sang her own rendition of “America the Beautiful” and Kid Rock performed his hit single “So Hott” live.

The main event and the most sought after game was the fight between Randy Orton and WWE Champion Triple H. For months, Randy Orton made it his personal vendetta to destroy everything that Triple H cared about, including his family. Backed by vengeance, Triple H worked hard to make sure he avenged his family and indeed he was able to defeat Orton and retain his WWE title. It was not an easy fight. The game ended with Triple H clobbering Orton with his sledge hammer then the Pedigree maneuver thereby defeating his opponent.

The match between Undertaker and Shawn Michaels, previously known as the “Heart Break Kid” could be considered as the main highlight of the game too also making it the second longest match in WrestleMania history. The game ended after 30 minutes and 41 seconds. Many believe that this fight could be considered as another Wrestle Mania Classic for both of the wrestlers perfectly executed their moves. From Tombstone pile drivers, super kicks, DDTs, crossface headlocks and figure-four leg locks, Undertaker emerged victorious. He executed his second and final Tombstone to Michaels, burying the soul of “Mr. WrestleMania”. Undertaker also emerged to be the winner of the poll survey “Who is the Greatest Legend of WrestleMania” garnering 44% votes while Shawn Michaels finishes second after getting 23% votes.
John Cena also regained his World Heavyweight Championship as he defeated Edge and Big Show. After he lifted the 400-pound plus on top of his shoulders while the crowd cheered on, he dropped and pinned Big Show to regain his gold. Showing off his mighty strength caused the entire audience to roar in approval making it one of WWE’s most historical events.

As for the Money in the Bank Ladder Match, CM Punk made history to be the first person to regain the same title from last year’s event. CM Punk proved he wanted this prize badly and never thought of the real danger the match held. Beating seven other worthy opponents, including Captain Charisma, Shelton Benjamin, Montel Vontavious Porter, Finlay, Kofi Kingston, Kane and Mark Henry, CM Punk’s determination and persistence proved helpful as he emerged the victorious winner of this match.

It was Mickey Rourke’s Oscar nomination that provoked the arrogant Chris Jericho to challenge WWE Hall of Famers Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat, “Rowdy” Roddy Piper & Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka. He believed and preached that Rourke’s role in the movie “The Wrestler” supplied false hopes to WWE’s Legends and Hall of Famers. The four legends got offended by Jericho’s accusations which lead Jericho to challenge them on a 3-on-1 Handicap Match. He invited Rourke to the 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania to show Rourke how he would slaughter the three Legends. Jericho successfully eliminated his opponents and continued to lash back negative words at Rourke and challenged him to the ring. Although he won over his opponents, he left the ring defeated and embarrassed as Rourke gave him a hard blow which made him drop to the floor. Ric Flair entered the ring and raised Rourke’s hand in celebration of Rourke’s triumph and they both rejoiced for all the Hall of Famers, Legends and in-ring performers of the past who helped shape the WWE.

The feud between Hardy brother’s Jeff and Matt finally proved that Matt is the better Hardy after their match at the 25th Anniversary of Wrestle Mania. Matt won the match after he pinned his brother’s throat with a steel chair when Jeff attempted to use a ladder to beat Matt.

It only took 21 seconds to finish the Intercontinental Championship Match and declared Rey Msyterio as the new Intercontinental Title holder. He was able to silence the loud-mouth JBL, after vowing to deliver his most decisive victory in Wrestle Mania history against Mysterio a couple of weeks back. After the quick match that involved showing off Mysterio’s 619 moves and a Frog Splash off the top of the rope, JBL announced his retirement against a crowd of 72,000 viewers.
“Santina” Marella also won the 25-Diva Battle Royal for title of “Miss WrestleMania” after beating 24 other divas in an all-out brawl.

WWE Tag Team Champions Carlito & Primo paved their place in history by defeating World Tag Team Champions John Morrison & The Miz in a Lumberjack Match and became the Unified WWE Tag Team Champions. The entire crowd held their breath as they watched dangerous actions executed by each Tag Teams. From lumberjacks to the dangerous ascension to the ropes, and in the end, Primo used the Backstabber, made popular by Morrison’s brother, and brought him down. This match is a battle summing up the thirst for gold, girls and glory.

With the eyes of the WWE Universe watching his every move, Orton concentrated on the battle at hand Orton prevailed on this match that included some of the biggest names in WWE like the Undertaker, Chris Jericho, the Big Show and Kane. At no. 8 though, The Legend Killer along with his allies, Ted Dibiase and Cody Rhodes, changed the “Every Man for Himself” inherent element of the Royal Rumble into a collaborative strategy on the first half of the 59 minute duration of the match to eliminate the likes of Big Show and Kane. With the collaborative work of the three many other WWE’s superstars have faltered and left Triple H in a 3-on-1 battle against the Legend Killer and his allies, Ted Dibiase and Cody Rhodes. The Game was able to eject the both Dibiase and Rhodes from the ring and left to face the Legend Killer. However, he too failed to defeat his former mentee and lost the opportunity to win a World Title. With this victory, Randy Orton after twenty five years after his father “Cowboy” Bob Orton tussled in the main event of the very first WrestleMania, will give life to a new family of Legacy at the silver anniversary celebration of World Wrestling Entertainment. Winning the Rumble could have ensured a sure spot on the main event, Orton’s spot still needs reassuring because of his vindictive assault on the WWE Chairman. And so the Royal Rumble Match winner awaited the imminent reprimand of his actions, will he be fined, suspended or terminated from WWE? The quarter-century spectacle, pomp and gallantry on the 5th of April in Houston, Texas, is an opportunity to a Rumble Winner to win any world title that they opt to target that night. However, with this controversy-laden scenario, the uncertainty lies elsewhere. With the retribution-ridden history of the McMahon clan, will the Royal Rumble Winner, Randy Orton, even be competing in the WWE by the time that WrestleMania XXV rolls into the Reliant Stadium? The WWE Universe will have to wait and see until that day comes for anything is possible in the Biggest Spectacle of Them All, the WWE.
