Batista was born on January 18, 1969 in Arlington, Virginia. Batista’ real name is Dave Batista. He is presently working with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), on its Raw brand. Batista’s parent are David Michael Bautistahis father who is a Filipino and Donna Raye Bautista his mother who is a Greek. He was married to Glenda in the early 1990s and also had two daughters. Then in 1998 he married Angie, but this time also he got divorced in 2006. Batista released his autobiography “Batista Unleashed”, a WWE Book, in October 2007. Batista came from a poor family. At the age of 13 he was into stealing vehicles. Later, Batista became club bouncer and one day he was arrested for having a fight. Soon he got into bodybuilding. Batista initially tried his wrestling career at WCW Power Plant but did not do any good and went to WWF. Batista joined Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW) in the year 2000. On May 9, 2002 Batista made his way to WWE through SmackDown as Deacon Bautista. Soon Batista earned decent reputation on WWE and was known as “The Animal”. He is a 4-time World Heavyweight Champion, 3-time World Tag Team Champion, 1-time WWE Tag Team Champion, and 2005 Royal Rumble match winner.
