A Christmas Carol (Jim Carrey) 2009 Full Movie Review.. The ever classic story of A Christmas Carol is relieved once again by Disney Animations. Like the old familiar story, Ebenezer Scrooge comes home on Christmas Eve and is troubled with several ghosts. With the artistic directorial powers of Robert Zemeckis along with his team of modern bang effects team of artists, the old Christmas story of a very cold and eery man came alive with animation used similarly in The Polar Express, five years ago.
If one would compare it to The Polar Express, this film is less creepy with its presented animated characters besides the fact the Scroogeâs story is already creepy for centuries. Somehow, one can say that Zemeckis has a problem with how to make the animation a little scary for the children audience. Fortunately, with the given creepiness alread.....

The Haunting in Connecticut (Virginia Madsen) 2009 Full Movie Review.. If you are looking for a suspenseful and entertaining supernatural horror film that is also based on true events, look no further than The Haunting in Connecticut. Based on the terrifying story of the Campbell family, The Haunting in Connecticut is truly the quintessential haunted house story with a twist. Because the house that this family moved into was not just a house, but in reality also an old mortuary that had been used to conduct sĂ©ances in the past. In addition, the homeâs prior owner (and mortician) forced his own child (Jonah) to act as an unwitting demonic clairvoyant during the sĂ©ances.
Because of the atrocities committed in their new home in the not-so-distant past, the Campbell family is accosted by hostile spirits and entities almost immediately upon occupyi.....

The Unborn (Odette Yustman, Gary Oldman) 2009 Full Movie Review.. Released on DVD, The Unborn made its box office debut on January 9, 2009, and was (unfortunately) critically panned for being predictable. A supernatural horror flick, the basic premise of the story involves a dybbuk, which is a demon according to Jewish lore. It is so evil that it is denied entrance to heaven, and must wander the between the realms for all eternity. Of course, as most demons do, the dybbuk tries its best to make its way into the mortal world via a human host. In this particular film, it preys upon twins (for a plethora of confusing and contrived reasons). It basically torments them to death, and when their souls leave their bodies, it enters.
The star character in this movie, Casey Beldon has a strange dream involving a fetus, a dog, and a maske. Soon the.....

Coraline (Dakota Fanning, Teri Hatcher) 2009 Full Movie Review.. Coraline has been arguably one of the best reviewed movies of 2009, regardless of genre, target audience or subject matter. Released February 6th, 2009 Coraline is the big screen adaptation of Neil Gaimanâs beloved story by the same name, and was produced in a 3D format, which is (if you havenât already noticed) the next big thing in animated movies. With animation reminiscent of The Nightmare before Christmas, the movie itself was a visual delight. And if you were lucky enough to catch it in the theater, you were likely able to add a high quality 3D viewing experience as well.
The story itself is of a little girl by the name of (you guessed it) Coraline, who is generally unhappy with her lot in life. Recently uprooted to a big, old, dank, dilapidated boarding house in th.....

Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen (Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox) 2009 Full Movie Review.. I have read many critical reviews of the new Transformers flick, Revenge of The Fallen. I was never a huge Transformers buff prior to the first feature film; however after seeing it I will admit to becoming a pretty big fan. That being said, I couldnât imagine that the second installment in the series could possibly be as horrible as was being reported. I mean, the entire original cast was returning, and the budget was huge, so where could they possibly go so terribly wrong?
I am happy to report that they did not go wrong, and that Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen was the best, most absolutely freaking sweet movie I have seen in a very long time. As I previously mentioned, the original cast all returned. And they were as on-it as before. The .....
