This is the night when Randy Orton promised to beat John Cena and make him say “I quit” on WWE Breaking Point. As the WWE Universe saw in the past week, John Cena has been weakened because of getting an RKO using a steel chair. However, this proved that a steel chair RKO is not enough to stop Cena from winning as he was able to lock Orton and use the handcuffs. With too much pain, Orton decided that it is time for him to say “I quit” and giving the title to Cena. Now, this new title is a new addition to the list of John Cena’s accomplishments. The only question is, when will Orton come back for a vengeance?

In this match, expect no count outs or anything. All the players have to do is just to submit to the winning player. And in this match, you can say that the Undertaker is that last person who will submit to the match. With this, the Undertaker already made Punk submit on this match but Theodore Long went on the ring to nullify the Dead Man’s win. With this, the match ended on a second round but it is very noticeable that the match’s official made an illegal call by hastening the bell and giving Punk the win. However, knowing the Dead Man, he will surely be back to grant them his revenge.
Without any disqualifications or count outs , this is the match that will guarantee a true brawl between the young members of Legacy and the much experienced D-Generation X. The match ended when Michaels was double-teamed by the legacy in a very painful position by having his spine bended. Feeling too much pain, he cannot do anything but to submit and thus giving the win to the younger generation of Legacy.

This is once again one of the matches that everyone should never fail to watch as this is a match between two teams who have been showing off their skills and determination to win. In the past matches, the WWE Universe has seen how the Jericho-Big Show team has stopped the other teams from winning the match. And this match is the same as the determination of Henry and MVP to win has been brought down by the skills of this skillful and powerful team.

This is not the first time they are facing each other as they have already fought in a match with Christian getting the win. Regal also tried his best to win on the match but once again, Christian has proven that he has the power to prevail in the world of WWE.

When it comes to talking, you can definitely rely on the Miz. But in the WWE Universe, talking is not the way to win so the Kofi Kingston has proven that he is the undisputed champion of this fierce universe. Now, will The Miz finally bring toughness on his skills instead of his talking in his next matches?

Seeing these two gigantic fighters in one ring will be very exciting for the WWE expectators. However, the Singapore canes on the corners of the arena will add up to the excitement as it assures excruciating pain with every blow. In the middle of the match, Ranjin Singh interfered to prevent the winning Kane. Being distracted, Kane went to Singh to divert all his aggression but he was protected by his brother. With all power, he gave Khali a powerful choke slam to get him the victory.
He is a 6 time World Champion and is currently undefeated at WrestleMania with a record of 17-0. While his WrestleMania record is spotless, he did not, however, perform in the 2000 edition, missing it because of a legitimate biceps injury. He is one of the influential backstage members of the roster, having worked for the WWF/E since 1990.

His real name is Mark Calaway, born on March 24, 1965 in Houston, Texas to Frank and Catherine Calaway. While he was in high school, he was a member of the basketball varsity team. As a hobby, he collects Harley-Davidson and West Coast Choppers motorcycles. Calaway is an avid boxing fan and carried the American flag for Team Pacquiao during the Pacquiao- Velasquez match back in 2005. Aside from boxing, he also enjoys mixed-martial arts and has been to several UFC events. He has incorporated several MMA-style moves to his moveset in wrestling matches.

Aside from his wrestling duties, Calaway has also been involved in the real estate business with his partner Scott Everhart and established a foundation named The Zeus Compton Calaway Save the Animals fund.

Calaway made his pro wrestling debut in 1984 for for the World Class Championship wrestling as “Texas Red” and lasted 4 years with the company. He left in 1988 to join the USWF, where he captured the USFW Unified World Heavyweight Championship. He then moved on to World Championship Wrestling in 1989 but eventually left in 1990 when his contract wasn’t renewed.

He debuted in the WWF in November 1990 initially as “Cain the Undertaker” but eventually shortened his name. Paul bearer was then made his manager, as the two characters matched gimmicks. In The Undertaker’s first WrestleMania appearance, he defeated “Superfly” Jimmy Snuka, starting his undefeated streak. He captured the WWF Championship title after defeating Hulk Hogan but lost it in a rematch 6 days later. In November 1993, he challenged Yokozuna for the WWF Championship in a casket match. Yokozuna won the match with the help of several villainous wrestlers.

The Undertaker returned in 2004 and dispatched an Undetaker impostor employed by Ted DiBiase. When Mankind debuted in the WWF, he set his sights on the Undertaker. Paul Bearer switched to Mankind’s side, costing the Undertaker the Boiler Room Match.

He feuded with Shawn Michaels and competed in the first ever “Hell in a Cell” match at the In Your House: Badd Blood PPV in 1997. During the match, Kane, The Undertaker’s half-brother, debuted and interfered, costing him the match. He also renewed his rivalry with Mankind, culminating in a Hell in a Cell match in King of the Ring 2008. In that match’s finish, The Undertaker threw Mankind from the top of the 16-foot cage followed by a chokeslam from the top of the cell that sent Mankind through the roof. He then finished off Mankind with a chokeslam off a pile of thumbtacks.

In 1999, he formed the Ministry of Darkness in a villainous turn. He claimed that he was taking orders from a “higher power”. The Ministry merged with Shane McMahon’s Corporation to form the Corporate Ministry. The Undertaker feuded heavily with the Corporate Ministry’s thorn, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin. It was then revealed that the “higher power” was none other than Austin’s nemesis, Mr. McMahon.

From 2000-2003, he changed his gimmick, becoming the American Badass, who would ride a motorcycle during his match entrance. It was during this time he was crowned as the WWF Undisputed Champion. He was sent exclusively to SmackDown and started an angle with Brock Lesnar. Lesnar would always get the upper hand due to interference from Mr. McMahon. He then faced McMahon in a Buried Alive match at Survivor Series 2003. McMahon won the match after Kane interfered and buried the Undertaker.

The Undertaker returned to his Deadman gimmick and defeated Kane at WrestleMania XX. He also dispatched his Randy Orton at WrestleMania 21 after the upstart Orton challenged him to a match. Their feud ended when Orton was defeated after a Hell in a Cell match. He challenged Kurt Angle for the World Heavyweight Title at No Way Out but lost the match after Mark Henry attacked him.

In 2006-2007, the Brothers of Destruction reunited against MVP and Mr. Kennedy, two wrestlers the brothers were feuding at that time. The Undertaker finally captured the World Heavyweight Championship after defeating Batista at WrestleMania 23. After suffering an injury, he dropped the title to Edge. At WrestleMania 24, he regained the title after Edge tapped out to the gogoplata submission hold. He successfully defended the title several times against Edge but Vickie Guerrero stripped him of the title after declaring the gogoplata submission move illegal. Edge then won the vacant title after interference from La Familia.

The Undertaker returned at SummerSlam 2008 and defeated Edge in a Hell in a Cell match. At WrestleMania 25, he made it 17-0 at the event after defeating Shawn Michaels, a wrestler he hasn’t previously defeated in a match.

The WWE felt that the surgery could ease up some pain that The Undertaker has been feeling in that area. Aside from a hip injury, it has been reported earlier that he is also experiencing some pain in his back area and both knees.

There is still no word when The Undertaker will return, although there were plans to have him come back by SummerSlam. He is a major locker room influence among the younger wrestlers and guys like Chris Jericho, Edge, and Rey Mysterio have picked up the slack ever since his absence.

While the WWE certainly misses his star power, The Undertaker should take as much time as possible and just let the injuries heal. It would certainly have been entertaining if the planned program with Jericho should continue as both are exciting performers in the ring but The Undertaker isn’t getting any younger and the company should know how to pace him in matches.

Well now, we’re receiving news that the company is now looking to rebuild over the next months. During this spell, they will expect that ratings and revenue may drop significantly but the company seems to want to shake off the effects of the global economic slump. Developmental talent from Florida Championship could be brought in and get their chances and with the WWE now having 4 shows (with a possibility of a fifth in the near future), there will be enough air time for the talent they’re throwing in the ring. Although these are the current plans, there’s still a chance that this won’t push through and is still subject to change.

With The Undertaker out of commission for possibly a few months, his scheduled program with Jericho will now be put on hold. Jericho will now be working on a program with Rey Mysterio, one which he specifically requested from management. The two have started giving a taste of the feud during a European house show. They’re looking at an angle where Jericho unmasks Rey. While the WWE never acknowledges it, Mysterio has been unmasked before while working with WCW. He’s wrestled withough his mask when he was part of the New Blood angle and the Filthy Animals. It should be noted that the WWE doesn’t show Mysterio without his mask on, even in press conferences. When the company shows old footage of Mysterio wrestling without his mask in WCW, they actually blur the image. Both wrestlers have worked before during their WCW days and many within the company feel that this program will be very interesting since Jericho has a good track record with requesting programs with other wrestlers.

There’s a WWE Diva who couldn’t be happier during the WWE Draft. According to reports, Melina broke down twice when her name was announced: she was being drafted from Raw to Smackdown. The real reason for her waterworks is John Morrison. They were a couple a few years back and now that they’re back together, she requested a transfer to Smackdown. Fans remember them as a real life couple when they were part of the stable MNM (which stood for Melina, Nitro, and Mercury), which captured the WWE Tag Titles 3 times. Mercury was eventually jettisoned out of the company and Melina and Morrison (then known as Nitro) separated in real life as well. Melina would then get into a real-life relationship with Batista, even garnering TV time as it was worked as part of a storyline (there is nothing sacred in the WWE. The storyline was about Melina accusing Batista of sexual harassment. Sheesh. Thank God Batista was injured and had to be taken off TV tapings or else I don’t know how I could have endured that). Melina is back in Smackdown along with Rey Mysterio to help regain the Latino community back to the show.

Previous reports point that the Undertaker has been out of the TV tapings for several weeks after WrestleMania 25 due to injuries in his hip and to both knees. The Undertaker has been working with both parts of his body injured and many feel that the Undertaker will take some time off to heal. The current plan is to have him undergo arthroscopic surgery and probably work him into a storyline, coming back in 2-3 months time for Summerslam. There’s a possibility that these plans may be scrapped altogether if the doctors discover more damage than initially suspected in the Undertaker’s injuries. Now, there’s fear that these injuries may keep him out of the ring for more than what was initially expected. The Undertaker has been working with these injuries for quite some time and nobody knows how much damage his knees and hips taken. Barring any additional injuries, the Undertaker should be available during Summerslam in a program against Chris Jericho.

With Smackdown’s top face out of action, the company will now put that role in Jeff Hardy’s hands although Hardy is also reportedly aiming to take some time off. The WWE now hopes that they can convince Hardy to re-sign with them or risk losing a major draw in the brand.

While some stars may be on their way out, another will be making his return in a few weeks. Mr. Kennedy made his return in a 6-Man Tag match in Florida Championship Wrestling, one of the WWE’s developmental areas. Kennedy got injured in a house show match against Shelton Benjamin on August 2008. He did make several non-wrestling appearances in both RAW and Smackdown to promote his straight-to-DVD film “Behind Enemy Lines: Colombia” which was released on January 2009. Reports say that Kennedy should be back in active duty in RAW by June.

Another star made his in-ring return in this early this month. Umaga (Eddie Fatu in real life) made his presence felt after attacking CM Punk. Umaga hasn’t appeared in Smackdown since January. As a result of his attack on Punk, they will now face each other in a match at the Judgment Day PPV event on May 17.

Speaking of The Judgment Day in Chicago, Illinios, here’s the current match line-up:
CM Punk vs. Umaga
John Cena vs The Big Show
ECW Championship Match
Christian (c) vs. Jack Swagger
WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match
Edge (c) vs. Jeff Hardy
WWE Championship Match
Randy Orton (c) vs. Batista

Is there such a thing as too much wrestling? We have Raw on Mondays, ECW on Tuesdays, Superstars on Thursdays and Smackdown on Fridays? So what’s stopping the WWE from adding another show to fill up Wednesdays?

Apparently, Vince McMahon doesn’t think so as he is planning to add another show to fill up your weekdays. Before, the company felt that having this many shows is tantamount to overkill but with so many TV channels these days, they feel that they can capitalize on that.

By the way, I forgot to mention that we also have monthly Pay per View events. Whew.

He will undergo a surgery to repair these injuries and will probably force him out of the ring for at least several months. The Undertaker normally takes time off from the squared circle after a big event such as WrestleMania 25, where he beat Shawn Michaels and thereby stretching his WrestleMania record to 17-0. He is now 44 years old and many believe that he’s in the twilight of his wrestling career.

Batista and former WWE and ECW Champion Rob Van Dam will appear in a movie together. The movie will be entitle “Wrong Side of Town”, which will start shooting this week in Louisiana. No reports yet as to what parts they will be playing. Those expecting Oscar-material acting should probably first check out “The Marine” and “The Condemed”. Nuff said.

Bringing Back the Dead-Man
After the Undertaker’s lengthy hiatus due to injuries, he will be facing Chris Jericho in a feud. This is the current plan after Undertaker’s break but plans could always change.

Moonlight Drive
John Morrison has been drafted to Smackdown. He recently split with tag team partner The Miz after their WrestleMania defeat to The Colons. Reports say that Morrison will now be pushed as a face in Smackdown.

Turn-ered Down
It’s safe to say now that Ted Turner will not be appearing in WWE’s DVD release “The Rise and Fall of WCW”. Ted Turner recently turned down an offer by the WWE stating that the DVD may not be as flattering as “The Rise and Fall of ECW”.

CM Heel Turn?
CM Punk has recently commented on his Smackdown transfer and the possibility of going heel. He expressed his excitement coming over to Smackdown and try new things. Punk first started out in the WWE in ECW before getting transferred to RAW. He has won championships in both brands and is eager to establish himself as a top dog in Smackdown.
When asked about turning heel, he said he’s open to the idea and would like to feud with Jeff Hardy but ultimately said that the WWE fans are probably not ready to see a heel CM Punk as of the moment.
