Triple H vs. John Cena
Are you effing kidding me? After a long and exciting match between the two mega stars, the bout between Triple H and John Cena ended up being a no-win situation for the two brawlers. How was this even possible? Two words: Double Disqualification. How did such a travesty occur? In a nutshell: Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes stuck their necks in where they didn’t belong and were clearly not welcome. Indeed, after what seemed like an eternity in which each fighter had his ups and downs and resulted in both men being exhausted and ready for a conclusion, Randy Orton’s two henchmen invaded what was only the third ever match between the two (clearly evenly matched) men, resulting in the almost unheard of double disqualification.

In effect, Orton proceeded to tell the men (and everyone listening) that because neither man had won, Orton should be declared the winner by default of the upcoming Tournament of Champions. Unfortunately for him, the Million Dollar man saw things differently. It was announced that because there was no winner in tonight’s pivotal fight, both men would have the opportunity to battle Orton at the Tournament, effectively creating one of the most star-studded Triple Threat Title Matches in the history of the WWE.
  

Evan Bourne vs. United States Champion Kofi Kingston and Big Show
In what will surely be the most talked-about bout of the Raw evening, Evan Bourne battled it out with United States champion Kingston. Indeed, Bourne proved his mettle and was able to defeat the touted champ. After being declared the winner, and after all should have been quite, Big Show stormed the ring and attacked Kingston completely unprovoked. Unfortunately for The World’s Largest Athlete, Bourne was having none of it and claimed his second victory of the night, effectively wiping the mat clean with Big Show and his apparently over-inflated ego.
  

MVP’s VIP Lounge with Jack Swagger
After inviting Jack Swagger to his VIP lounge, MVP quickly began spouting accusations that Swagger deliberately lost his recent bout with Randy Orton, followed by poking fun at Swagger’s incarceration stint as a young man. Unfortunately, MVP was unable to effectively put his money where his mouth is, and the confrontation ended uneventfully with Jack Swagger exiting the lounge while hurling an insult of his own. He merely implied that MVP was beneath his notice on his way out the door.
  

Randy Orton vs. Ted DiBiase
After being set up by his own father to brawl with Randy Orton, Ted DiBiase appeared both betrayed and frightened. That was, of course, until Orton pointed out that DiBiase could never hope to take him down. At that point, DiBiase set out to prove why he is a member of the WWE. However, despite his best effort, Ted DiBiase was simply no match for The Viper, who took his less experienced opponent down with a RKO.
  

Mark Henry vs. Cody Rhodes
After making glaringly apparent that he was not interested in a bout with Mark Henry, even going so far as attempting to wiggle his way out of the match by bribing the Million Dollar Man, Cody Rhodes clearly felt like taking on Mark Henry was out of his league. And for good reason. From the get-go, the bout between the two fighters was clearly and painfully one-sided. And, seeing no possible victory in sight, Rhodes took it upon himself to make an early and hasty exit from the fight, which gave Mark Henry the win by count-out.

Mickie James and Gail Kim vs. Divas Champion Maryse and Alicia Fox
Mickie James was accompanied by the new comer Gail Kim and on the other side, Maryse was accompanied by Alicia Fox. The feud between Mickie James and Maryse was like never stopping and was settled by Mickie James when Gail Kim pinned The Diva Champion Maryse.

Unified Tag Team Champions Edge and Chris Jericho vs. Carlito and Primo
For continuous 3rd time The colons could not defeat Edge and Jericho. Edge in the end pinned Primo. Carlito got so irritated and upset with their defeat because of his brother, he threw him out of the ring and slammed him to the announcer’s table. Will this be the end of The Colons?
