Randy Orton and The Legacy assaulted WWE Champion Batista
Raw kicked thing of with WWE Champion Batista walking into the ring to cut a promo about Randy Orton. During his promo, Orton cuts him off and Legacy double teams on Batista. Orton and Legacy repeatedly hit Batista’s arm with chair shots. Orton then took the WWE Championship and walked away, leaving Batista writhing in pain inside the ring.

After the commercials, Batista was wheeled off to an ambulance. He was shouting for someone to get the WWE Championship from Orton. He said he couldn’t feel his arm and he was sped off into a hospital.
  

 

United States Champion Kofi Kingston vs. William Regal
Kofi Kingston is in the ring to defend his United States Championship against William Regal. Regal was able to hit a running forearm shot into Kingston’s face. Regal tries to hit Kingston with a knee but Kingston was able to sidestep and turn it into a Trouble in Paradise. He covers Regal and retains his title.

 

 

 

Orton is at the back talking to Josh Matthews. Orton will be invoking his rematch clause tonight and will be walking out as the WWE Champion if Batista will not show up.

 

Divas Champion Maryse vs. Kelly Kelly
We are treated to a WWE Divas Championship match with Maryse defending her title against Kelly Kelly. Maryse was able to retain her title after delivering a DDT to Kelly for the win.
  

 

 

 

 

 

Backstage, Vickie Guerrero arranges a rematch between Batista and Randy Orton for the WWE Championship. She will also deliver a huge announcement that “will change the face of Raw forever”. Meanwhile, Maryse and The Miz are talking. Maryse then gouges The Miz into match against John Cena and he agrees.

 

Santino Marella, Goldust & Festus vs. Chavo Guerrero, The Brian Kendrick & Jamie Noble
After the commercial break, we see a six-man tag match with Santino Marella, Festus, and Goldust against The Brian Kendrick, Chavo Guerrero, and Jamie Noble. The finish saw Hornswoggle interfere and hits Noble in the shin, allowing Santino to roll him up for the pin.

 

John Cena vs. The Miz
The match between John Cena and the Miz ended up in a no contest due to the Big Show’s interference. The Big Show came down the ring before the match and attacked Cena. Cena tried to fight off the Miz but Big Show hits Cena with a chokeslam. Big Show then applies the Camel Clutch on Cena but the Miz takes both men out with multiple chair shots!
  

 

 

MVP vs. Matt Hardy
MVP went up against Matt Hardy next. MVP was able to capitalize on Hardy’s injured hand after dropping him into the mat hand first. MVP then hits the playmaker on Hardy and makes short work of the match.

 

 

 

Raw General Manager Vickie Guerrero resigns and Edge asking for divorce
After the commercial, Vickie Guerrero comes out to announce that the match between Batista and Orton will happen. She then shocks everyone by announcing her resignation from the WWE because she doesn’t get any respect from the locker room and from the fans. Edge then comes out to join Vickie. Edge now wants a divorce from Vickie since she has no power to arrange title matches for him anymore.
  

 

Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase vs. Unified WWE Tag Team Champions Carlito & Primo
The next match was a non title tag match pitting the Colons against Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase. Legacy comes up with the win after Rhodes hung Primo’s neck on the ropes, allowing DiBiase to hit the Dream Street on Primo.
  

 

Batista vs. Randy Orton where Triple H shows up
After the commercial, Batista versus Randy Orton is scheduled next. The titan tron then shows an ambulance arriving in the arena from the hospital. Orton readies himself against Batista but Triple H’s music hits instead and The Game is on his way to the ring with a sledgehammer! Triple H takes out Rhodes and DiBiase with the sledgehammer and runs straight for Orton. Orton tries to get away but Triple H hits him with a spinebuster. Triple H then grabs a chair and punishes Orton with it multiple times, including a shot at the back of the neck. The Game then positions Orton for a Pedigree and plasters Orton’s face into the chair! As the show goes off the air, Triple H is posing over Orton’s limp body.
  

 

Result:
Triple H returned, attacking The Legacy and WWE Champion Batista vs. Randy Orton ended in no contest
Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase def. Unified WWE Tag Team Champions Carlito & Primo in a non-title match
