Jeff Hardy have finally proved to the WWE Universe that he does have the right to demand for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship Title after defeating The Edge in their non title match last Friday night at SmackDown. Although Edge was able to defeat Jeff Hardy in their title match in Judgment Day proving the he is the “true face of SmackDown” and superior over Hardy, SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long was not convinced by his victory and saw it as “an atrocity” due to the interference of Matt Hardy. Long decided to make a rematch and between The Edge and The Charismatic Enigma on Extreme Rules and whoever wins in their match last Friday gets to choose the stipulation in their Extreme Rules match in three weeks. Since it was Hardy who came won the matchby the use of a Swanton Bomb, he announced that their World Heavyweight Championship Match at the Extreme Rules would be a Ladder Match.
  

Another feud that needs closure is the match between CM Punk and Chris Jericho. It seems this feud will have to go on without end until Umaga stops meddling with their matches. Last Friday, the Samoan Bulldozer came to the ring once more this time tying Punk upside-down to the turnbuckle with a Samoan Strap and challenged Mr. Money in the Bank to a Samoan Strap Match at Extreme Rules before whipping him. Umaga’s interference ended CM Punk and Chris Jericho’s match in a disqualification.

John Morrison and Cryme Tyme on the other hand, defeated Shelton Benjamin, Charlie Haas and Ricky Ortiz by great team work. Cryme Tyme took care of business outside the ring on Benjamin and Ortiz while John Morrison took care of Charlie Haas on the ring.

Another victorious superstar is Michelle McCool. She will be the number one contender for the Women’s Championship title which is currently under the care of Melina. It was the interference of Alicia Fox that gave Michelle the opportunity to attack Gail on the turnbuckle causing her to drop upside down and right into the perfect position for Michelle, the Divas Champion, to execute the lethal Faith Breaker.
  

Dolph Ziggler defeated R-truth however his celebration was cut short by The Great Khali. Ziggler was able to win the match by hitting R-truth with a Corkscrew elbow. But amidst his celebration and the cheering members of the WWE Universe, the Punjabi Playboy emerged and pursued him. The Punjabi Playboy was unsuccessful to roll out his plan though for Ziggler was able to escape his sudden attack.
