2nd July 2009 - Watch and Read WWE Superstars Full Highlights Santino Marella vs. The Brian Kendrick
As many of you already know, Santino Marella is struggling with the recent firing of his “sister”-in-crime, Santina. That being said, it appears that a little grief is good for the man. He managed to wrestle a hard-fought victory in his matchup against Brian Kendrick. Things didn’t look good for Marella early on, and many predicted an early victory for Kendrick; that was until he was able to pull out a pin-reversal for the ages and knock Kendrick onto his junk for the win. Santina who?

2nd July 2009 - Watch and Read WWE Superstars Full Highlights John Morrison vs. Charlie Haas
In the pairing of John Morrison and Charlie Haas, the outcome was clear from the get-go. Haas just couldn’t get the upper hand against The Friday Night Delight; in fact his use of the Starship Pain move will go down as one for the ages. Experts and fans alike agree that Morrison is making all the right moves and is on the top of his game. Don’t be surprised to continue seeing great things from this one…

2nd July 2009 - Watch and Read WWE Superstars Full Highlights Zack Ryder vs. Tyler Reks
When Zack Ryder threw down against Tyler Reks, it was anyone’s match. And before long it turned into a classic example of East side vs. West side. While Reks tried to put a new spin on the concept of ‘California Love’ during his debut match, he was ultimately no match for the more experienced East Coast native, Ryder. The match wasn’t entirely one-sided, and Reks clearly showed off his ability to hang with the big boys, pummeling his opponent with some bone-crashing moves early on. However, after losing his footing to a well placed leg sweep, the Zack Attack was on, and Reks ultimately lost the battle. However, despite losing this match, Reks displayed impressive skill, and he will certainly back to try again in the future.

2nd July 2009 - Watch and Read WWE Superstars Full Highlights Unified Tag Team Champion Edge vs. World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk
In the final bout of the night, things went south in a bad way. Nothing is ever drags the intensity level down as fast or as far as when a fighter forfeits. Unfortunately, that’s exactly the kind of ass whooping the WWE Universe ended up being handed when CM Punk decided that he’d had enough and fell back on an old eye injury in order to call an early end to his match against Edge. It came as a shocking blow to fans, as the fight seemed to be moving along normally. That was until Punk tried to bust out the Go To Sleep on an unwilling Edge; unfortunately The Ultimate Opportunist was able to disengage himself, unwittingly damaging the World Heavyweight Champs eye in the process. After several minutes of trying to wait it out, Punk signaled he was not going to continue on – thus handing the win to Edge. Many people are furious that the V was given away so readily – hopefully a rematch is on the schedule soon…
